We offer small group classes, personal training and individualised programming to beginners and experienced lifters alike. If you're looking to start your weightlifting journey, improve strength and technique or you're keen to try something a bit different - this is for you!

About Kate

I am the Head Coach and Owner of Harrogate Barbell Club. I set up my full time coaching and PT business in London in 2018 and have been weightlifting for over six years. I have competed at several Tier 3 competitions as well as the British Masters. I actively encourage my athletes to compete whatever their level, however I equally support those who take part in the sport for fun. I have been coached by a variety of competitive lifters at national level; as such I have a broad understanding of different training methodologies and am continually learning from the best in the business. I am immensely proud of the fantastic club community we have here at HBC. We pride ourselves on our welcoming and supportive nature, with no ego or judgement.
